At almost 11 months, Miss J has so nearly got the hang of walking. There have been many, many times in the last few days where she’s taken a couple of stumbling steps between corners of the sofa, or between Mark’s and my outstretched arms, but any more than two and she sits down and starts crawling instead.
She’s obviously so, so close that we’re living in a lovely state of suspense.
All this walking practice means that Miss J has been able to enjoy her gorgeous new vintage-style Mary Jane Purple shoes from Inch Blue. They’re handmade from soft leather, which is probably why she seems so comfortable in them, and they look retro fabulous.
