Ghost Busters found himself in Air World – JD, 4
ASDA sent us a vampire costume, pens, sketch pad and face paints, and challenged JD to write a story inspired by those items.
This is the story he told (written exactly as dictated):
This is a story about a vampire called Ghost Busters, who wears a black cape and lives in a haunted castle.
In the castle, everything makes blood, so when you turn on the taps, the water is red! Ghost Busters also has a pet ghost.
One day, Ghost Busters found himself in Air World, where the humans live. He couldn’t find much blood and felt lonely. He tried to get back to his castle when he saw a magic mirror by his side. Ghost Buster found a piece of paper with some magic words on it.
“Flash! Blind! Make the world change!” he said. And suddenly, he flew through the mirror.
Ghost Busters found himself back in his world but something was different…he couldn’t find his pet ghost! Ghost Busters went to the bathroom to brush his fangs and what did he see? His pet ghost had followed him to the human world and was now squeezing through the drain which was a passage between the worlds.
Ghost Busters knew he had to close the passage, but how? He suddenly had a brilliant idea. He looked under the pipe and found a plug, which he put in the sink to block the drain. He undid the pipe where he found a special key, which was circle-shaped. The key fitted perfectly into the bottom of the pipe, where it shut itself.
The human world was now locked away from the vampire world, keeping everybody safe in both worlds.
THE END
Not bad, eh?
Disclosure: ASDA sent us a costume, face painting kit, pens and sketch pad to help with this story. No payment was received for this post and we declined to enter the competition element.
