Tidy up time with Tidy Time (review)

Nice and tidy – Miss J, 1

If you’re forever tidying up after your little ones, here’s quite a cute solution – the Tidy Time (£39.95). It works by acting as a play mat, but then folds up into a soft storage box when you’re ready to tidy up.

The product is from Laura Jackson, a new grandparent who spotted a need and decided to do something about it.

Here’s her story:

We, like a lot of people today have wooden floors and whilst they look great we found that they are not particularly “baby friendly” in the falling over area!

As I make quilts as a hobby a couple of floor quilt were made for Thomas our new grandson, in fact several were made, as my mum has wooden floors too, but then I had to store them as well as his growing toy collection!

One day I picked up the quilt with the toys inside and voila! The Tidy Time was born.

If you want to check out Tidy Time for yourself, it comes in a range of designs to suit most homes. I think Miss J is a little too old now for us to get good use out if now – nothing can contain her mess making abilities! – but it is practical and would be great for a younger baby, especially if you have hard floors and limited space.

One thing to note: at the time of writing, The Tidy Time doesn’t seem to have any kind of safety certification such as a Kite Mark, so while I can’t see anything of concern about it, it’s something to bear in mind.

Disclosure: we were sent the Tidy Time to review. No payment was received. All posts are 100% honest.
