Frankfurt Christmas Market 2014, Birmingham
Birmingham’s Frankfurt Christmas Market has run for the last 13 years and is now the largest outdoor Christmas Market in the country. It’s a key driving force in helping cement Birmingham’s growing status as a top European Christmas and New Year destination.
This year, the market will run from 13 Nov – 22 December and form the centrepiece of the city’s annual Christmas events calendar.
Festive Gift Fair, Birmingham
If you can’t wait for the festive season to begin, head over to the Festive Gift Fair at Birmingham NEC, 20-23 Nov to discover a host of wonderful, unusual and affordable presents. It’s a great day out and a perfect chance for some early Christmas shopping.
Craft Market, Birmingham
The Craft Market in Birmingham is 10 years old this year and runs along side the Frankfurt market from 13 Nov – 22 Dec giving visitors the chance to browse a wide selection of items crafted by local artisans, and take their pick of goods imported from all over the world by local traders. There’s plenty of food and drink to choose from too.
Visit Santa’s Grotto, Coventry
Visit Santa and his elves on 20-23 December at The Visitor Centre, Coombe Country Park. All children will take home Christmas crafts they make with the elves and a small gift from Mr Claus himself!
Santa’s Dizzy Day, Belgrade Theatre, Coventry
If you have pre-schoolers, they’ll love Santa’s Dizzy Day, a fun-packed 40 minute show, followed by a chance for kids to give their letters to Santa and receive a surprise gift. Great festive fun.
