Are you a new parent learning to deal with your child’s eczema? I bet you’re feeling a bit frustrated. Some days it’s bad, other days it seems better. Everyone and his dog has uninvited advice about miracle cures, and all you really want is for your child to be comfortable.
Last year, I and several other parents chatted with Oilatum about how we manage our children’s eczema and what helps us. I’m really excited to see that the video is now live. If you’re feeling a bit down about your children’s eczema, I hope it’ll help you feel a bit more positive and a bit less alone.
Oilatum also produced this guide to bathing your eczema-prone child. I definitely get the sense that a lot of parents expect each other to scrub kids with oodles of bubbly soap every night as part of the bedtime routine, so it’s great to hear some sensible advice about skin care.
Do watch this video if you feel at all unsure about how your little one’s bathing might be affecting their dry, irritated or eczema prone skin. The advice is not salesy in the slightest and it contains genuinely very useful advice that’s easy to follow.
