If you’ve walked round the supermarket recently, you’ve probably already spotted that the clever people at Sure have developed a new kind of antiperspirant – Sure Compressed.
The main benefit of Sure Compressed is that the can is much smaller but Sure say it will work just like the Regular one, lasting just as long and working just as well.
To compare this new product to the regular Big version, I carried out a scientific(ish) test, where I used only the Compressed version under one arm and only the Big version under the other until they both ran out.
Watch the video below to see how the experiment played out, or read on…
After about six weeks, the two cans of spray ran out at almost exactly the same amount of time, so I’m pleased to say that they do indeed seem to contain the same amount of product, despite the difference in size. And there was no difference in performance – both underarms stayed equally dry.
There is another difference, though, and that’s in terms of how it feels on your skin. While the product inside the can is the same and you use it in exactly the same way, Sure Compressed actually has a softer spray, so it feels gentler on your skin whilst still providing just as much care and protection. This is especially noticeable if you’re fresh out the shower and have just shaved your underarms.
So overall, it’s all pluses for the Compressed product and since it’s smaller and easier to carry around, it’s the one I’ll be going with from now on.
Why not take the challenge for yourself and see if Sure Compressed really does last as long? It’s available from all large retailers, RRP £3.29.
This is a commissioned post for Sure.
