Dubai has been on my ‘must visit’ list for a long as I can remember. In my 20s, my friends and I talked at length about spending a few weeks out there, and since having children, I’ve been even more keen to visit.
You might not think of Dubai as a family destination, but there is much more to Dubai than meets the eye, making it the perfect year-round destination for families and couples, with gorgeous beaches, high-octane adventures, world-class shopping, international events, sumptuous cuisine and fascinating culture.
Since temperatures in Dubai rarely drop below 24C even in the depths of winter and average between 30 and 40C across warmer months, it’s always the right time to escape to Dubai to enjoy the sun, sand, sea and shopping.
Dubai has grown into a globally benchmarked social, commercial and business hub while embracing the diversity of its cosmopolitan population and celebrating its Emirati heritage. It is the ideal destination for families/luxury travellers looking to rediscover the warmth of the summer in an exotic destination brimming with avant-garde cultural and tourist attractions.
Doesn’t it just look and sound like the stuff of dreams. I’m planning a visit in October and frankly, I cannot wait!
