Have you ever trekked down to London, kids in tow, in order to embark on a family holiday abroad?
When we fly from London, we tend to travel down the evening before and stay in a hotel. It’s an adventure, but it does add quite a bit to the journey time.
KLM UK flies from regional airports across the UK, including Norwich, Cardiff, Bristol, and Birmingham. This is brilliant with young children as it means less to shell out on trains/cabs and pre-flight hotels. And of course, slashing the time between leaving home and jumping in the pool is a winner, especially if it means much less grumpy/overtired kids!
All KLM flights that depart from the UK go via the KLM hub at Schiphol, and you can expect excellent service at every stage of your journey. I’m really excited to be flying with KLM UK to Stockholm later this year, so in the coming months, I’ll be able to tell you about my first hand experience of the KLM service.
To help promote their family-friendly ethos, KLM UK have released this short film, which takes us on an adventure with a young plane named Bluey.
Isn’t that cute?! In addition to this fab little movie, KLM UK have partnered with Trunki to produce a limited run of these fantastically useful kids’ suitcases.
Trunkis have always been a hit in our family as they have wheels, a pull strap and a curved top, so little ones can either pull or ride along on them at the airport. Loads of fun, and just the right size to be used as their carry-on.
Would you like a KLM Trunki? I have three to give away!
