Want to know how to make breakfast froyo? This is an extra special plain yogurt, churned as it freezes to produce a gorgeous froyo (frozen yogurt), served in generous scoops, topped with a scattering a fresh fruits.
They’re made extra special with Onken Plain Grain, a slightly sweetened plain yogurt with 5 grains - Barley, Oats, Rye, Wheat and Rice. I absolutely love the texture of Onken Plain Grain - it’s creamy, chewy, refreshing and satisfying.
So, on with the recipe! Here’s how to make this fab recipe for a deliciously different breakfast. You can make a big batch to dip into when you fancy a cool breakfast treat.
Ingredients
- 450 g (15.87 oz) Onken Plain Grain
- 40 g mixed fruit
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp rolled oats

Instructions
Pour the Onken Plain Grain into a freezer safe container and place in the freezer for 30 minutes.
Remove from the freezer and give it a good whisk.
Repeat a couple more times until you have a consistency similar to ice cream.
Serve 2-3 scoops per person into bowls. Top with fruit, a squeeze of honey and a scattering of rolled oats for a truly delicious breakfast.
