Ahahahaha, bacon biscuits! – JD, 5
If you’re a regular reader of this blog then chances are you’re a fan of baking.
And if you and your little ones would like to treat the dad in your lives to some home made biscuits this Father’s Day, check out this video from Biscuiteers.
She makes it look so easy, doesn’t she? I’m going to order some kit from Biscuiteers’ extensive range of icing gear.
Biscuiteers also make ready-made biscuits, like the ones you see at the top of this post. We were sent them for review and they’re really delicious. The biscuit itself is crumbly and not too sweet, with a very even bake, while the icing is light and crisp.
And they look amazing, don’t they? They came in an illustrated metal tin, well packed and cushioned against breakages, and have great novelty value. JD giggled the whole time he was eating his ‘bacon biscuit’. My only small criticism is that the food colouring in the icing came out all over the kids’ hands and mouths, and I now have a little red handprint on the kitchen wall!
If you’re anywhere near Notting Hill today (June 15th 2013), I’d recommend popping into the Biscuiteers boutique. They’re running a special Father’s day shopping event where you can choose a pressie and if you’re feeling creative you can ice it yourself, or get it personalised by one of their expert icers.
I think Biscuiteers is a lovely little company and would recommend checking out their range next time you need a unique gift.
Disclosure: we were sent a tin of biscuits for review. No payment was received for this post. All posts are 100% honest.
