Usually I have just a single question when it comes time to decide what I should eat or drink, and that question is ‘is it delicious?’. However, at this time of year when the weather turns sweltering my usual question is joined by another one more… ‘will it cool me down?’ Thankfully, everything in this week’s #recipeoftheweek would return a resounding ‘yes!’. So sit down, tune in and chill out!
This is THE place to link up your recipe posts for lots of tweet, comment and Pinterest love. At the bottom of this post is the latest #recipeoftheweek ‘linky’ – use it to add any recipe posts you would like to share.

But first, here are my selections from last week’s entries.

Searching for Spice’s kiwi sorbet dessert is refreshing, fruity and a brilliant summer cooler great just by itself or with a little fresh fruit.
Cherry Yogurt Ice Cream
Creamy, sweet and refreshing, Sew historically’s dessert starts as a vanilla custard with home-made vanilla sugar, soy yogurt and home-made candied cherries before being perfectly chilled.
Gooseberry and Elderflower Sorbet
With home-made Muscat Syrup as a base Tastebotanical’s sorbet is a wonderful punch of flavour, sweetness and coolness.
Chocolate Dessert with Quinoa & Sweet Potato
Everyday Healthy Recipes’ chocolate dessert is super tasty and has some wonderfully unexpected ingredients in it.
Kolsch Watermelon Bourbon Cocktail
Craft Beering’s cocktail is a mixture of bourbon and Kolsch beer, along with watermelon and fresh mint – super refreshing!
