It’s so easy to make this fun balloon craft that’s bursting with flower power – puns intended!
These flowers contain enough helium to float, so you could decorate your summer party with a host of floating flowers.
You’ll need (per flower)
- Coloured balloons
- 4 blue
- 1 yellow
- 2 green
- 1 green modelling balloon
- Green modelling balloons
- Balloon Time Helium Tank
- Filling your balloons with helium is just a case of fitting them onto the nozzle and pushing down slightly to that the gas releases.
- Don’t overfill them – stop when the balloons feel firm.
- Once filled, you can fix the supplied balloon ribbon to your work surface with a little tape if you wish, so that they don’t float away as you work.
How to build your flower
Inflate all of the other balloons using the helium tank, except the modelling balloon which should be filled with air.
Tie the four blue balloons together at the ends. These are your petals.
Tie the yellow balloon into the centre of the blue petals.
The green modelling balloon is your stalk. Tie the two green balloons to it at a half way point to create the leaves.
Finally, attach the stalk to your flower and you’re done!
This is a commissioned post for Balloon Time.
