Over the past few weeks I’ve been introducing you to the Power of Frozen with Iceland, the experts in frozen food. I’ve looked at the many advantages of frozen food, including convenience, reduced waste and great value for money.
Today, we’re going to have a little fun!
I’m going to show you pictures of lots of delicious family friendly food. It’s my dinner table from a huge family get together last week. Your job is take a look through the gallery and guess which ones are homemade and which are cooked from frozen. I might even mix in a few from the takeaway or bakers to throw you off the scent.
And the answer? They’re ALL frozen from Iceland.
Hope you enjoyed that! Check out my video explaining this experiment further.
You see, I truly believe that our freezers are as core as the fridge and pantry in helping us to maintain a healthy, varied family diet. We have constant access to freshly frozen fruit and veg for our homemade meals, and we can stock up on convenient frozen meals made from quality ingredients. I hope I’ve given you lots of inspiration on how to use frozen food to make cooking well for your family easier and tastier than ever.
And don’t forget to check out my Mini Fish Pies, Homemade Fish Fingers, Salmon Fish Cakes, Spicy Lentil Vegetarian Shepherd’s Pie, Grilled Halloumi Vegetable Couscous with a Yoghurt Mint Dressing and Zesty Bean Quinoa Patties – they’re also made with the Iceland range!
