Fancy a laugh? Barclaycard have created five videos featuring the brilliant comedian Jason Manford. Each short video features Manford’s usual brand of observational stand-up, this time homing in on the frustrations we can all face dealing with banks – everything from making payments, to internet shopping, to using your card abroad.
Have a look:
This rings so true for me. I have been trying to get organised lately, which involved a trip into town to buy a to-do pad, project folder, post-it notes and more. Basically, if it looked like it might help make working from home run more smoothly, I put it in my basket.
So, newly organised me sat down with a shiny fresh to-do list on Monday, and started working through it. All was going well until I got to the dreaded phone calls section because just like Jason says, it is rarely as simple as dialling a number and doing what you need to do – there are usually loads of hoops to jumps through first.
So, I paid a bill, gave a meter reading and then when it was time to do the most complicated call…I Facebook messaged all the details to my husband and let him do it because, hey, delegation is a skill too! ;-)
