I’m going to be in Year 1 – JD, 5 (to pretty much anyone who’ll listen)
ASDA is my go-to source for uniforms. The George range is low-cost, fits well, and lasts reasonably well, given the battering JD gives it on a daily basis.
You can get trousers from £3, plimsols from £2.50, two-packs of crew neck tees for £2, and two-packs of polo shirts from £2.50.
The polo shirts are a little thicker than you get in some other supermarkets, I find, and they’re Teflon® coated, so they don’t stain easily. As with most cheap uniforms, they’ll probably only last a term, but at just a few pounds a pop, I think that’s still good value.
I had a quick check in our local ASDA at the weekend and it still had plenty of stock in, so I reckon it’s a safe bet for last minute uniform shopping. And if you’d prefer to shop online, use the code SCHOOL06 and you can get free next day delivery when you spend over £20.
Disclosure: we were sent some ASDA uniform for review. No payment was received. All posts are 100% honest.
