I can’t review Otter Chaos! I like everything about it, full stop! – JD, 5
We’ve recently finished reading Otter Chaos (£5.99 from HarperCollins Children’s Books) with JD at bedtime and he thoroughly enjoyed it.
It’s about two otter families who try to move into the same home and end up at war. Well, not really at war, rather a sort of mini-Olympic trials to decide who wins the right to live in the new house.
It’s brilliantly written with some mild peril, light comic moments and some really engaging illustrations. The characters are well developed and the plots takes some predictable but pleasing turns.
I asked JD (5) to tell me what he liked about it, but he just insisted he liked everything about it. A pretty glowing review, huh?
Disclosure: we were sent Otter Chaos free of charge for review. No payment was received. All posts are 100% honest.
