Hello and welcome to another #recipeoftheweek.
At the bottom of this post is a brand new #recipeoftheweek ‘linky’ ready for you to add any recipe posts you would like to share. They don’t have to follow a particular theme – absolutely all recipes are welcome :)
But first, here are just three of the brilliant recipes linked up to #recipeoftheweek last week, chosen because they all leafy greens to make extremely attractive and vitamin rich dishes. YUM.
First up, Purple Bean Patties by Strength and Sunshine. Made with kale, white beans, mushrooms, sweet potato and plenty of herbs and seasoning, these really do look exceedingly appetising, especially topped with that lovely mashed avocado.
Next, Spinach Pies by The Levantess. Not only do these hand made, spinach packed little parcels look DELICIOUS, they’re also vegan, which is a bonus. I want them. Now.
Finally, Kale and Avocado Superfood Smoothie by Nutritious Deliciousness. With kale, avocad, blueberries, strawberries, cucumber, tomatoes and a chia/flaxseed mix, this smoothie really does live up to its superfood title. I’ve got it on my breakfast list.
