Woohoo, school run shoes – me
As I’ve written before, I genuinely love walking but my purple DMs, cool as they are, aren’t ideal for belting up the hill to school three minutes before the bell. However, these little Fitflop shoes – a cross between ballet pumps and trainers – are.
They’re super soft of top, shiny patent goodness round the sides, a nice wide stretch band to hold them in place, and best of all they have “built-in sneaker-like cushioning” in the sole, which basically means they’re ergonomically designed to hug your feet and feel like you’re wearing trainers. Pretty awesome, actually.
I’ve worn these shoes on the school run every day for the last week, and also wore them when travelling up to a food festival. They stayed comfy and even remained pretty after a soaking in the evening rain.
Grab them for £85 from Fitflop – they even come in half sizes, so if you’re awkward of foot-shape like me, you can have some comfortable shoes that actually fit!
