Recently, I was invited to take a look around the Hillarys factory and product design studio to learn about the new Country Retreat range developed in-house for their curtains and Roman blinds by young designer, Victoria Robinson.
Bird Parade, a peacocks fabric shown here in teal is my absolute favourite from the range. The pattern drapes elegantly and looks as gorgeous on cushions as it does on curtains and blinds. Hillarys very kindly gave me a cushion to take home and I have my heart set on matching curtains for my new home office.
Eske, a dotty fabric shown here in teal has a touch of animal print without being garish. A little busy for my tastes, but would work great as the accent fabric against otherwise understated decor.
Heath, a map-style fabric shown here in wineberry is a clever design, based on geographical contours/ley lines. With embossed gold detail, it could add classy opulence to a mahogany rich dining room.
Patina, a distressed ‘houndstooth’ fabric shown here in teal fabric brings a softness to what can otherwise be a fairly harsh and busy pattern. The worn print effect would being a modern twist to a stately room and looks great against creams and golds.
Wild Poppies, a flowery, sweeping print shown here in amethyst fabric is feminine and chic. I would love this in my kitchen, bathroom, bedroom or indeed anywhere in need of a touch of floral chic.
A gorgeous range, I think you’ll agree. If you’re thirsty for more, check out this video of the event – you may even spot me babbling away!
I attended a blogger event and left with a goodie bag and one of the sofa cushions! Imagery and video via Hillarys.
