It’ll all come out in the wash! – me/my mum
I am very proud of my mum. She brought up four children in the face of all sorts of adversity while simultaneously working and getting herself a degree.
She’s worked tirelessly to support us all in every way she can and is adored by her grandchildren. So do I mind if people say ‘you’re turning into your mum’? Not a jot, but it is pretty funny.
This infographic from Hallmark made me chuckle as it outlines the top indicators that tell you you’re turning into your mum. I found myself nodding along. I have about 20 tins of tomatoes in the cupboard and I’ve said nearly all of the phrases detailed, especially, “It’ll all come out in the wash”, which my mum definitely used to say to us.
How much of this rings true for you…?
