Spiced mushroom rice

A spiced mushroom rice dish made with wild mushrooms, rice and a light soy sauce.

  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic grated
  • 1/2 inch ginger grated
  • 1 box of mixed wild mushrooms
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 250 g cooked brown rice
  • 1/2 tsp hot chilli powder


  • Warm the oil in a pan over a medium heat.
  • Add the garlic and ginger and cook for one minute.
  • Chuck in the mushrooms and fry for a minute.
  • Add 1 tbsp of the dressing and fry for further minute.
  • Stir in the rice, then the rest of the dressing and chilli powder
