A fiery condiment made with garlic, chilli and lemon juice and perfect to serve with Indian cuisine, spice lovers will adore this garlic chutney recipe. It certainly packs a punch.
1tbspvegetable oil (canola oil)or any flavourless oil or olive oil, if you prefer
Instructions
Peel all of the garlic cloves and pop them into a blender or mortar.
Add the chilli powder, lemon juice, oil and a pinch of salt and pepper.
Blitz or grind to a paste. If you want it to be looser, you can blend in a little more oil or a dash of water.
Serve and enjoy!

Notes
To store, transfer to a clean, dry jar, pour a little extra oil on top to keep it fresh, fit a tight lid and pop it in the fridge. It will keep for about a week.
