Put the flour, salt, bicarbonate of soda, onion powder, parsley, salt and pepper in a mixing bowl. Whisk together so that everything is evenly distributed.
Add the chopped bacon and 2/3 of the grated cheese. Whisk again.
Make a well in the centre. Pour the yoghurt and lemon juice into the well. Mix well until all the flour is incorporated and it starts to clump.
Flour your hands and gently form into a ball. Gently transfer your dough to a nonstick baking sheet.
Press a cross into the top with a wooden spoon. This helps the dough rise and gives the loaf a classic soda bread shape.
