This Caramel Apple Dip takes minutes to make and is so delicious it won't last long! It's a rich, sweet caramel that's perfect for dipping apple slices.
Put the cream, butter, sugar, cinnamon and salt in a non-stick pan over a medium heat.
Stir until the butter has melted and the sugar doesn't feel grainy on the bottom of the pan.
Bring to the boil and cook for 2 minutes.
Take off the heat and allow to cool for 30 minutes before pouring into a suitable container to cool completely.
You can enjoy dipping apple slices by transferring a little to a dipping pot while it's warm or cold.
The caramel should be stored in a sealed container in the fridge. As it chills, it will become very thick, so you may wish to gently warm the caramel to loosen it again when serving.
