This thick and satisfying vegan fruit and nut smoothie bowl is utterly gorgeous, and super easy to make, too.
It's delicious, filling and nutrient-packed and perfect for breakfast.
I created this recipe as part of my role as a Breville Home Heroes Ambassador, where this week I've been challenged to create something that showcases the versatility of two brilliantly useful products: the Breville Blend Active Pro Personal Blender and Breville Blend Active Accessory Pack. Yep, every element in this smoothie bowl has been prepared using one set of compact kit. Here's how.
The Breville Blend Active Pro Personal Blender includes a 300W motorised base, a four prong blade assembly with screw on protective lid (no catching your fingers in the cupboard!), a 500ml BPA-free bottle sports bottle with superseal leakproof lid, a neoprene bottle case to keep your smoothie cooler for longer, and a recipe ideas booklet. It's everything you need to make shakes and smoothies and take them with you on the go. And it is powerful, able to blend ice with ease.
Meanwhile, the Breville Blend Active Accessory Pack takes an already super handy gadget to the next level with a selection of accessories and extras to lend you a helping hand in the kitchen. It includes a 450ml compact food processor, a 300ml BPA free sports bottle with superseal leakproof lid, a stainless steel grinding mill, a storage lid, a citrus juicer, a whipping disc and an instruction manual with recipe details, turning your personal blender into the ultimate home hero; a high performance, exceptionally compact, multifunctional kitchen gadget that can blend, purée, chop, froth, whip, juice and grind.
With the accessories, you can make not only smoothies and shakes with your Breville Blend Active, but also a whole range of nutritious family meals and treats. Make fresh juice for breakfast, grind fresh coffee, froth milk, whip cream, chop vegetables, blend soups - all at the press of a button with minimal fuss and easy, quick cleaning.
To show off what the Breville Blend Active can really do, let's get on with making this amazing smoothie bowl recipe, packed with fruit, nuts and oat milk, topped with chopped almonds, ground pumpkin seeds and a whipped vanilla coconut cream topping.
