Air Fryer Baked Brie with Honey

    Jump to Recipe

If you love a gooey, decadent cheese board, you’ll love this air fryer baked brie, which takes minutes to prepare and is best served with a generous array of delicious things to dip into the melty goodness.

Baked brie is a classic centrepiece for any cheese board, offering a rich, creamy texture and mild, buttery flavour that pairs beautifully with both sweet and savoury accompaniments.

Using an air fryer makes this indulgent dish even easier, melting the cheese to perfection in just 10 minutes while developing a lightly warmed, soft rind that crisps and collapses, barely containing the molten cheese within.

The drizzle of honey enhances the brie's natural creaminess with a touch of sweetness, while a sprig of rosemary adds a gentle herbal aroma.

A pinch of salt and black pepper rounds out the flavours, ensuring a well-balanced bite.

If you prefer a hint of spice, you could swap the honey for hot honey or add a few crushed chilli flakes on top.

When serving, texture and contrast are key. Crisp crostini or crackers provide a satisfying crunch, while fresh fruits like grapes, figs, or sliced apples bring a refreshing sweetness that cuts through the richness.

Nuts such as walnuts or pecans add a lovely toasty depth, making each bite more interesting.

For a variation, you could experiment with different toppings. Chopped toasted almonds, dried cranberries, or a spoonful of fig jam would all work beautifully.

If you want a more savoury twist, you could try adding caramelised onions or a touch of truffle oil.

This air fryer baked brie is best enjoyed straight away, while the centre is at its oozing, melty best.

It’s perfect for sharing as a starter or as part of a larger spread for a cosy night in, a dinner party, or a festive gathering.

Read on for the full recipe with detailed instructions and a helpful photograph for every step. And if you have any questions, just leave me a comment. Enjoy!

    Ingredients

    • 200 g (7.1 oz) whole round brie
    • Pinch salt and black pepper
    • 1 tbsp honey
    • 1 sprig (1) fresh rosemary

    Equipment

    • Air fryer
    • Greaseproof paper
    • Spatula

    Instructions

Cut a circle of greaseproof paper slightly larger than your brie. You can also use a ramekin, small shallow heatproof dish, or a camembert box.

Preheat the air fryer according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Mine defaults to 205C for 4 minutes.

Place the brie on the greaseproof disc in your air fryer basket.

Set the air fryer to 180C and bake for 10 minutes or until a pointed knife pushed into the centre finds it melted all the way through.

Use a wide spatula to transfer to a board, drizzle with the honey and garnish with the rosemary sprig.

I recommend serving with crostini, grapes, walnuts, and apple slices.

It really does make for quite the show-stopping platter.
