You can take almost any dessert to a whole new level of delicious by adding this two-ingredient Biscoff sauce. It’s super easy to make and brings a smooth texture and heaps of caramelised biscuit flavour.

Biscoff spread is already packed with rich, caramelised biscuit flavour, and when melted with golden syrup, it transforms into an irresistibly smooth sauce that’s perfect for drizzling over your favourite desserts.
This quick and simple two-ingredient recipe creates a glossy, pourable sauce in just a couple of minutes, making it an easy way to elevate everything from ice cream to pancakes.
The texture of the sauce is thick yet fluid, with a silky consistency that clings beautifully to whatever you pour it over.
The combination of Biscoff’s spiced, buttery notes with the deep sweetness of golden syrup creates a well-balanced flavour that’s undeniably decadent.
This sauce is especially good over warm puddings like brownies, waffles, or sticky toffee pudding, where the contrast between hot and cold makes for an extra indulgent bite.
You could also swirl it into yoghurt, drizzle it over porridge, or use it as a dip for churros and doughnuts.

Ingredients
- 100 g (3.5 oz) golden syrup
- 100 g (3.5 oz) Lotus biscoff spread
Equipment
- Small microwave safe bowl
- Weighing scales (or measuring cups)
Instructions
Measure the Biscoff spread and golden syrup into a microwave safe bowl.
Heat in the microwave in 10 second bursts, stirring between each burst until you have a smooth Biscoff caramel sauce.
If you want a thinner sauce for drizzling, simply add a splash of milk or cream and stir until smooth.
For a thicker consistency, let it cool slightly and it will firm up and soft set.
If you prefer a darker, more intense caramel flavour, you could add 1 tsp of black treacle (molasses).
Once made, this Biscoff sauce can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
Simply reheat in the microwave for a few seconds to bring it back to a pourable consistency. It’s a great staple to have on hand whenever you need a quick, flavourful topping.
