Finished pot of homemade chipotle dressing.

I always have a jar of this beautiful dressing on hand as it's so delicious - the perfect combination of spicy and sweet.

The recipe starts with chipotle paste, which is made with made jalapeño chillies that have been smoked and dried, then pureed. Store-bought usually also contains a little vinegar and sugar to preserve it, plus a little onion, garlic, tomato purée, herbs and spices.

Spoon going into a finished pot of homemade chipotle dressing.

To turn the chipotle paste into a beautiful dressing, we'll add some honey, red wine vinegar, tomato puree and olive oil and then whisk together until combined. So easy, right?!
