    Naan bread pizza is a brilliant mid-week meal when everything's a bit hectic and you haven't time to spend ages cooking.

    They're quick to make, delicious and filling, plus they're great for families because kids can help with the easy prep and everyone can choose their own toppings.

    Just grab some naan breads, pasta sauce, peppers, tomatoes and cheese and you can make gorgeous naan bread pizzas just like ones pictured. And they only take 10 minutes to cook!

    Here's the recipe for my naan bread pizza - it's really, very simple.

    Ingredients

    • 4 naan bread
    • 200 g (¾ cup) pasta sauce
    • 100 g (¾ cup) mature cheddar cheese (sharp cheddar) grated
    • 1 red bell pepper thinly sliced
    • 6 fresh cherry tomatoes
    • 2 tbsp olive oil
    • salt and black pepper

    Equipment

    • Weighing scales
    • Spoon
    • Nonstick baking sheet
    • Kitchen knife
    • Chopping board
    • Grater

    Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 220C (200C fan, 425F).

    Put the naan breads on a baking tray.

    Top with the sauce, spreading to just shy of the edges.

    Sprinkle the cheese on top.

    Add the peppers and tomatoes.

    Drizzle olive oil all over and sprinkle with a pinch of salt and pepper.

    Bake for 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and the edges of the naan are crisp and golden.

    Transfer to a board, cut into slices and serve.
