The rich, buttery, nutty, aromatic ripeness of camembert in its melted form is something of a culinary marvel. This air fryer baked camembert recipe brings that marvel to your grazing board in minutes.

Camembert has been a staple of French cheese-making since the late 18th century, known for its creamy texture and earthy, mushroom-like aroma.
When baked, the interior turns irresistibly gooey, making it perfect for dipping.
Traditionally, baked camembert is done in the oven, but the air fryer offers a quicker, more consistent result, ensuring the centre is fully melted without overcooking the rind.
The barnyard tang of the cheese pairs beautifully with the sweetness of honey, while fresh rosemary adds a subtle, piney fragrance.
A little salt and black pepper help to balance the richness, enhancing the overall depth of flavour.
If you like, you could add a hint of garlic by making small slits in the top and tucking in thin slices before baking.
Once ready, the camembert should be soft enough to scoop up with a cracker, yet still hold its shape in the wooden case.
It makes an elegant centrepiece for a grazing board, working well alongside crusty bread or crackers, toasted nuts, and fresh or dried fruit.
A spoonful of tart apple chutney or fig jam can cut through the richness beautifully.
You can even turn this into a more substantial snack by spreading it onto warm, toasted baguette slices.
Whether served at a dinner party, enjoyed as a cosy night-in treat, or added to a festive spread, this air fryer baked camembert is a simple yet indulgent dish that always impresses. You're going to love it!

- Salt and black pepper
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 sprig fresh rosemary
Equipment
- Greaseproof paper

Instructions
Preheat the air fryer according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Mine defaults to 205C for 4 minutes.

Set the air fryer to 180C and bake for 10 minutes or until a pointed knife pushed into the centre finds it melted all the way through.
Transfer to a board.
Drizzle with the honey and push a sprig of rosemary into the centre.
I recommend serving with crackers, fresh figs, dried apricots, walnuts, and apple chutney.
