    Air Fryer Granola

    Jump to Recipe

This air fryer granola is so quick and easy, you could make it from scratch when you wake up, and enjoy it for breakfast the same morning.

It's crunchy and moreish with a perfect degree of toastiness, and you don't even need to get a mixing bowl dirty, since you can mix everything up right in the air fryer basket.

This easy air fryer granola is made with just five ingredients, and you probably already have them in your cupboards: rolled oats, vegetable oil, sunflower seeds, honey and raisins.

It's a very flexible mix, though, so if you'd like to change up the fruit and seeds, or add some nuts, you absolutely can!

Once cooled and stored in an airtight container, this granola stays fresh for up to a month, but I very much doubt it'll last that long! It's delicious not only as a breakfast cereal, but also sprinkled on top of fruit salad or porridge, stirred into your lunchtime yoghurt, or scattered over a warm apple crumble.

    Ingredients

    • 250 g (8.8 oz) rolled oats gluten free if required
    • 2 tbsp vegetable oil (or canola oil, coconut, olive oil)
    • 100 g (3.5 oz) sunflower seeds
    • 6 tbsp runny honey
    • 100 g (3.5 oz) raisins

    Equipment

    • Weighing scales
    • Measuring spoons
    • Wooden spoon
    • Air fryer

    Instructions

Remove the grill tray from the air fryer, if it has a solid basket. If it doesn't, you'll need to add a suitably sized tin.

Put the oats, oil, seeds and honey in the air fryer basket.

    Mix with a non-metal spoon.

Set the air fryer to 140C/285F and bake for 20 minutes, shaking every 5 minutes.

Allow to cool in the basket – this allows clusters to form, then add the raisins on top.

Stir through and transfer to an airtight container to keep your granola fresh.

I like to enjoy mine with a splash of milk, a dollop of Greek yoghurt, and a drizzle of honey. Enjoy!
